Mentorship Program

    This is a peer support and solidarity program at Sabancı University, to ensure that every incoming student at Sabancı University has an easier time to adapt to the academic and social life on campus. 10-15 incoming students (mentees) are matched to a senior student (mentor) who is the group leader.

    The first person to contact when you face an academic, social or personal problem is your mentors. They will guide you to the best unit/person in the university that can help you.

    Mentors also ensure that all incoming students meet with new friends, and organize social activities to introduce you into the Sabancı University culture.

    Mentorship Program formally lasts two months. However, it is not uncommon that these bonds last for a long time.

    Don’t forget to meet with the students wearing orange t-shirts on the Orientation Days at the campus!

    How to Apply?s

    If you are interested in being a mentor, please fill out this form by  May 1st , Wednesday/5pm.

    Required Qualifications:  

    • - Sophomore or Junior standing as of Fall 2024,
    • - > 2.50 CGPA & >2.00 Term GPA,
    • - Strong communication skills,
    • - Problem-solving and leadership skills,
    • - Being a team player,
    • - No disciplinary record

    Interviews will be held with suitable candidates.
